THE PRINCE’S BIRTH DETAILS HAND WRITTEN IN UPPER AND LOWER CASE STYLE, BUT, ON THE SAME DOCUMENT HIS MOTHER’S SURNAME IS SPELT IN ALL CAPS!!!

The Daily Mail has published details of the new Prince’s birth registration details, and, unlike you and me, it has been written in the ‘capitis diminutio minima’ style.
‘Capitis diminutio minima’ is characterized by the first letter of the given and family name being upper case or capitilised and the rest in the lower case style. In the case of the newest member of the royal family, his name is spelt ‘Prince George’ as opposed to Prince GEORGE or PRINCE GEORGE.

This could apply if the English Royal Family ceased being sui juris upon losing the power struggle with English parliament for power over the subjects of England, possibly under the Treaty of Verona, in 1649 with the murder of Charles I, followed by the strengthening of the Parliamentary position with the 1689 Bill of Rights which is ostensibly an employment contract for William & Mary of Orange, as well as the Act of Settlement 1701.
Absolute confirmation of the diminished capacity of the royal family occurred most recently at the Heads of Commonwealth meeting whereby a group of Commonwealth leaders sat down and determined the question of whether a female offspring should ascend to the throne before a younger male sibling. Can you imagine this happening to Henry VIII, William the Conqueror, James I, or Alfred the Great?

In contrast, when ‘we the people’ are registered, the Birth Certificate is spelt entirely in UPPER CASE, otherwise known as Capitis Diminutio Maxima, or PRINCE GEORGE.

One possible explanation is that this is a handwritten document for ‘the ledger’ and that the certificate itself shall conform to the capitis diminutio maxima state when produced.
This may be the case, except for the fact that the mothers surname has been handwritten in the capitis diminutio maxima manner which illustrates a clear distinction of styles.

On the other hand, every reference to the royal family in this document is in the capitis diminutio minima style.

Interestingly, neither Prince William, Catherine in her capacity as Princess, nor Prince George has a surname, despite the fact that they come from the House of Saxe Coburg-Gotha/Windsor.
Is this the lack of a surname, the element that creates a distinction between them and us? It could be, but how would we explain the birth certificate details of other elite family members, the government, the judiciary etc?

Whatever the reality, this rare glimpse into the logic employed into the spelling of Prince George’s name vs ‘our’ own will possibly cause quite a bit of debate, as well as helping to improve our collective knowledge of the conditional freedom that we all enjoy nowadays.
